Reading Program at Trilogy School
Our Reading Program begins the foundation for learning and includes decoding, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. These skills are necessary building blocks on the pathway of literacy. Each student comes to Trilogy with a specific level of skills. We begin instruction where they are and build confidence in reading across the curriculum.

Decoding and Phonemic Awareness UFLI & Decodable Readers Elementary Morphology Week by Week Morphology–focuses on reading and understanding the meanings of multisyllabic words by introducing common prefixes and suffixes Middle Grades Morphology Literacy Through Language: Building Knowledge Through Words– focuses on reading multi-syllabic words and building vocabulary by introducing common Latin and Greek roots. |
